  1. what&how we can contributed to environment is equally important…as population is increasing at rapid rate it is our duty to maintain the ecology…..this is a wake up calls for all if we are not developing any new green belt in urban area we don`t have any rights to destroy it.

  2. Developements are for better purpose but due to competition or enimity for e.g. Between the nations ,nuclear bombs resulted in disaster and many more

  3. Destruction can’t be avoided, many things are made with good intentions but sometimes the uses are not the best. Development can be viewed in different perspective depending on personality.
Many times we are our own worst enemy.Development is double edge sword.

  4. The NTPC project at Hotgi has already started showing hazardous effects on rainfall. The average temperature and humidity is also expected to go up once the project starts power generation in full swing.

  5. Development with Proper Planning in ALl The seotors…Specially in Hilly region is a think over now as lack of environmental ideas and corruption are caused due to it

  6. If car she’d is built into arrey it will be a classic example of urbanisation for the future generations. Are is the lungs of mumbai and one can`t puncture your own lungs for urbanisation.

Development should be a sustainable development or we will end like shanghai China where there is smog all over & health problems.

Same is said to be of NTPC which leads to higher asthma patients in the city in the long run.

  7. Club should surely execute the relating project. Shall we start with ‘ Swacchata Abhiyan?’ That is very important .

  8. We are here to upgrade ourselves and enhance development.on the node , We need to keep a balance between nature and development. This might be attain by smart and intelligent decisions.
In solapur new roads are being constructed, but during “Ganpati – Navratri” times , holes are being dig for mandaps spoiling the road quality. Can we propose a alternation method for the same. Many areas can be choosen for placing dustbins there. Small issue but needs attention.

  9. Behind the name of development actually disaster is going on…
So many alternative areas have to be focused…

  10. 1.Both developement and environmental protection must go hand in hand.4 way test is applicable here also.
2.Our club should participate in tree plantation and preservation which is this years RI Presidents focus area.
Ecofreindly Ganpati workshop is also excellent project.

  11. We have to keep natural resources and development in two parts. were there is development there should not keep natural resources and where there is natural resources development must not come there.

  12. HI EVERYONE,
A VERY IMPORTANT POINT PUT FORWARD BY OUR TEAM.
I THINK EVERY EFFORT OF DEVELOPMENT HOWEVER BIG IT MAY BE BY HARMING THE NATURE IS NOT WORTH. THERE IS A NEED TO MAINTAIN A BALANCE BETWEEN DEVELOPMENT AND NATURE. ITS NECESSARY TO DO SO THAT WE CAN MAINTAIN OUR NATURAL RESOURCES WHIVH IS VITAL FOR HUMAN EXISTENCE.
A SIMILAR PROJECT IN SOLAPUR IS NTPC, THERMAX, NEW AIRPORT AT BORAMANI. IT IS NECESSARY THAT SUCH PROJECTS MAINTAIN THE BALANCE BETWEEN NATURE AND DEVELOPMENT.
WE AS ROTARIANS SHOUL LOOK INTO ANYONE OF THE ABOVE PROJECTS AND CHECK THE BALANCE OF NATURE.
    THANK YOU
